Michelle Brown
School Director
Michelle Brown, a Lorain, Ohio native, brings a decade of educational experience to her role at Steel City High. With a Bachelor's in Education and a Master's in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron, Michelle's commitment to her hometown is evident. Formerly with CMSD and coaching at John Marshall CBL in Cleveland, she joined Oakmont Education in 2023 as Assistant Director at Old Brook High School: Parma Campus.
Michelle is enthusiastic about fostering relationships in Lorain, aspiring to inspire the next generation of leaders at Steel City High. She envisions the school as a platform for students to overcome challenges and discover new opportunities, reshaping their futures.
Outside of school, Michelle dedicates time to Sunday services and cherishes moments with her family. Happily married to Avery Brown, she and their son, Carson, eagerly embrace this new opportunity for Lorain's educational landscape.
